As the article says, it is part of the company’s over all tech focused strategy.

It is not 1,000 people, it is 1,000 roles. It is unclear how many people that equals. If the company has 15,000 people in one of those roles…

All contracts go to the lowest bidder.

Or some poor guy who is setting it up, because it is a one off and just get it done project, that metastasizes into a fucking mess.

Fucking assholes. All that does it fuck over everyone that works with them.

Marketing companies
Companies that sell and host applications.
Online gaming companies.
Streaming media companies
Awareness of consumer behavior is of huge value to pretty much all companies.

Yeah because kids drink a lot coffee….

It is called credit.
Game Stop will work with a bank or any number of lenders to put together the deal. After the deal is done, eBay will pay off the “lenders”.
99.9999% of everyone who buys a house bids on the house with less money than they have.
Same with most luxury items such as cars and boats.
Businesses do this with necessities such as Trucks and building equipment. A buddy of mine owns a concrete business and he just bought a backhoe loader with a bunch of different attachments that cost 175K USD, he is very successful but he didn’t pay for that with cash.

And in other news, water makes things wet.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaahah

They are completely indefensible!

WTF…
I am so god sick of hearing about AI…

He really can’t be that stupid… can he?
Oh wait nevermind, don’t answer that.

Thanks bud.

There is no such thing as maintenance free.

This is really cool……. BUT
Save money by not requiring pads and rotors.
I call BULLSHIT
The announcement was light on details about both the system
So it is light on details but they KNOW it will save cash. Sure we won’t have to drop 300-500 bucks on pads and/or rotors every three years but we will have to replace the electric motor every five years to the tune of 4,000.

Have you heard if it is going to have a campaign or not?

Is anyone surprised that one of the most if not the most incompetent and corrupt administrations in the history of the US is churning out shit that is corrupt and messed up?
This administration doesn’t live in reality so I am sure whoever was building that thing sure didn’t feel like anyone wants to hear about problems.
Same shit happened the last time Cisco laid off a bunch of people.
