If you turn off notification history on Android, should be enough to avoid such “attacks”. Hiding sensitive content inside notifications only hides it in the lock screen. If your OS keeps a clear log of them, it’s useless.

I’ll not trust Lenovo (Motorola is Lenovo) preinstalling stuff on my phone. They’ve already ship Windows laptop with literally malware and backdoors (even in UEFI, so persistent across format) preinstalled.
I will rather install it myself.

I had the sams issue with a friend’s pc (Windows 10).
I just added a shutdown.bat on his desktop and told him to use it. Problem solved.
