Ihhave no idea who this guy is, but as I said, the articles I read are more pro EU than not. At least that’s how I see them

I ddon’t get this… Most political articles I read(through reddit) are very favorable to EU or somewhat just telling what’s happening. What’s the problem with this article for example?

HOA? I don’t think this is such a thing in Europe, at least not in Portugal. wandering if it’s a american defaultism thing

Just like here. There no hidden algorithms to hook people up. It’s just content you follow or what’s new or upvoted. It doesn’t analyze what I do to try to push stuff for me

The most effective measure is to forbid “algorithms” to show content

Unless someone works in a highly secure job, this kind of app behavior is just a hindrance.
Makes me remember that where I work we use an ALM system(like jira) that’s sends only encrypted messages which forces us to use our PIN for every single mail we read and makes it impossible to use the search function. this for mails that have absolutely nothing sensitive. I think that people who set those secure options don’t actually work with them so they don’t see how frustrating it is.

I think the biggest problem is investment funding. VCs and angel investors are much more common in US then here. There are many European startups that ended moving to US because it’s easier to raise capital there

Per person is increasing since 2022. Is Germany population decreasing?

Meanwhile, my employer(one of the largest European companies) is betting more and more on Azure services :|
Looks like they rely solely on covid vaccines. The decline should continue until the develop something new
