Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) plans to buy at least a million dollars worth of robots from Boston Dynamics, the company that makes the dog-like SPOT robots, with the purpose of improving “officer safety,” according to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announcement.
Holy heckin’ Lordy. I have tied one on tonight. It’s been a long time since and not something I frequently do on the regular. But as I read this, a thought occurred. My Sister-in-law has a mouth breathing, window licking little weirdo that could easily distract robot doggos with a drone(s). Pretty sure the little fella could figure out to fly as many drones as needed simultaneously to get ‘er done. Checkmate!
