It’s entire response system is designed to give you the answers that keep you engaged. Essentially it tells you whatever it needs to ensure you continue interacting with it. Type something that remotely sounds like you’re upset? It’s that listening “ear”, the shoulder to cry on, and the words you want to hear. It’ll ALWAYS give the answers it thinks you want. Not the best ones. It’s programmed to do this. It’s survival depends on it.
It’s because all AI is designed for maximum feedback looping. It’s entire response system is designed to give you the answers that keep you engaged.
Essentially it tells you whatever it needs to ensure you continue interacting with it.
