Oh man, this is painfully accurate. Spent a week digging through logs and configs while the real culprit was a single cheeky line of code the whole time. Nothing beats that mix of rage and giddy satisfaction when you finally peel the mask off.
Also, can we stop pretending huge unreviewed PRs are fine? Better tests, smaller commits, and actual code review would save us a ton of drama. Until then, keep the memes coming, they are cheaper than therapy and just as effective. I knew it!
I find it funny when this happens. Also, I have definitely learned about bugs via these memes. It’s kind of like painting dicks around potholes to get them filled faster.
According to the article, the city council has started to ignore the dick potholes. Hopefully that doesn’t say anything about the Piefed devs.
Ok but after a few months of this the community is littered with memes about various bugs and there’s no way to know which ones were fixed and which were not. The impression is that there are lots of bugs.
I will try to mark them resolved when they get fixed.
