Look at the Vietnam draft and how that went, and realize that the majority supported the Vietnam war until after 8 years in - we’re only a few WEEKS into the Iran war and it’s already vastly unpopular, especially with young people - who would be the people drafted. Keep in mind as well, that historically it’s young people who are most likely to participate in civil unrest.
I honestly believe that if Trump imposed a draft for the Iran war, it would spell the end of his presidency, and possibly his life.
That won’t lead to civil unrest. There’ll be a few protests but the majority will comply.
A large part will support it.
