After years of redditing I decided to leave Reddit, exactly because it is not a free platform that respects its users. The proof, my final post explaining why I’m leaving Reddit was banned!

I left a few years ago. I didn’t get banned but I did remove my content.
It’s an adjustment. It’s a lot slower, and you have to play with your filters to get your viewing right for you.
There’s not a lot of niche forums like over there or support groups say for example the stremio Reddit. But it’s building and it’s a lot more genuine.
It takes time to build and you are now part of figuring how and where you can contribute. It is a nigggly transaction and you have to stop and remind yourself it’s not Reddit, it won’t be Reddit and you left there for a reason.
I feel like a real grown up now 🤣
