    Hopefully they can trace the poison to it’s source, and if it was done purposefully, the person or people involved will get the maximum punishment allowed. There could be more poison planted around waiting for more animals to take it.

        I don’t think it’s possible, I was just giving credit to the possibility that it might not have been done on purpose.

        I’m sure that there are plenty of excuses ready to be made though, if and when the perpetrators are caught.
