I disabled a load of Google stuff and run trackercontrol (a local VPN on the phone that blocks stuff), so maybe I’ve broken something…
Hmm… I’m using gotify with a Ras Pi to send the alerts and I sometimes get long delays…
AFAICT it’s the phone, not the Pi, but all I can see are lots of websocket errors in the gotify client the time… are you not getting those then?

You should see the fear on people’s faces when I suggest they restore a backup - esp. on Production.
My advice (to combat their fear) is to take an offline backup that has some kind of checksum and then immediately restore it.
That gets them past the initial fear and then we progress onto other backup strategies… if needed.

Depends… if you use an offline password manager ( like keepass), you can ask it to autotype your credentials into anything… if that’s what you ask it to do (ie it’s not a fault)
Main point though: don’t reuse the same credentials across different sites.

IMHO each new version of Windows looks & feels different to the last anyway, so most (general users) wouldn’t know the difference - they just need a web browser an email client and an office suite.
That 1 Windows-only program they use is probably not compatible with the next version of Windows too
I’m using a Pi Zero as a voice satellite with an additional mic hat and a speaker hanging off the audio output and it’s … ok
There’s definitely much lower WAF with this option
The voice assistant has built-in audio which appears to be high (enough) quality and considering it’s case, power, etc, not to mention funding the advancement of open source voice control, it’s just overall “better”
If you’ve got a Pi lying around with a mic & speaker, definitely give it a go
