0·5 days agoI’m currently splitting my specialist between Orlando health and Advent health over close to Orlando. Pretty much everyone in Sumter country will just end up killing you. It’s common knowledge that the local hospitals are just death traps.
University of Florida took them over from the Morse family to try and fix the mess. But they are struggling to improve care. The Morse family that created the Villages, are some seriously evil dudes and the health systems they created show it,

I never went there because their admin people seemed kind of nuts. but the place I did go to for a while, Premier medical, also got caught doing fraud.
And they were the ones who almost killed me, kept giving me antibiotics for a fungal infection, then decided I had leukemia, sent me to a specialist who refused let me make an appointment. This went on for 6 weeks while I was running a fever and lost 20 pounds.
In the mean time, I was on the waiting list for another gp. He spotted what was wrong right off, put me on anti fungals and I was better in a couple of days.
