Wake up babe, new bullying method just dropped. Let’s see if we can manipulate the school to cane my victims!

I can see kids finding ways to circumvent it in a few hours of release.

Oh how fun is that the definition of “phone” has changed.
This is all speculation on my side but it can’t look into your files or anything. What we call a smartphone today is actually a combination of a very powerful computer and a telephone in the same chassis. The SIM card can do a lot in the phone part of your smartphone: send/receive/process messages, calls, track your location etc. not open and see through your camera though.

I’m still grieving over XMPP. We could have an amazingly decentralized messaging platform. Google even based their own GoogleTalk over XMPP for a while, but a cluster of walled proprietary bullshit services won in the end, and Google layer switched to their own proprietary bullshit.

But it’s E C O S Y S T E M!

Cool, thanks for sharing!
I vaguely remember a js based tool that, instead of a series of slides, gave a massive canvas where going to next slide was moving the viewport into a new location on the canvas. Doe that ring a bell to anyone?

It was a spam bot swarm a decade ago.
I checked again around 2023, then it was full of human backed fake profiles that pushed cryptocoin scams. It’s called pig butchering.
Today I assume it’s still pog butchering but backed by LLMs instead of people.

I’m not disagreeing with you. I have held the belief that neoclassic theory of economics is bullshit since I studied it 20 years ago. I’m just explaining that bullshit which is still used to measure things like development, progress etc.

Each time money moves: one trade happened. Someone bought, someone sold something. It’s all activity. Money moving around fast: a lot of activity, people getting what they want. Money sitting still: stagnation, no work done, no production etc.
That’s the theory. Of course reality is a bit more complicated. People doing volunteer work is often net positive for humanity but won’t show up in economic metrics.

Losing money in hardware, insurance premiums, increased security are all nice effects though.

Part of me can’t even blame them anymore. They have been built on evil, genocidal plans but great powers of the world have been supporting, pretty much encouraging them for generations now. Has any Israeli leader faced consequences for their atrocities?
Yitzhak Rabin took some steps towards peace with Oslo Accords, and was promptly murdered for it.

Nah, he’s just so toxic that only Americans can tolerate his (and GOP’s in general) toxicity.

Nice pope you have there, would be a shame if he received a visit from US VP.

Sounds like a threat.

I wish they’d nab their prez in a law enforcement operation.
Excellent point, thank you.
