aligned with the far-right
They didn’t release the victim’s name initially.
Why?
Because he was more than aligned. He marched with the groups. He did the salutes. He was at the front of the parades carrying flags. He was a known neo-nazi.
I’m against violence. Stating facts is not condoning violence. Quentin was not an innocent choir boy, he was not ambushed in the manner that was originally reported, he was not left for dead; he refused to go to hospital after the fight and didn’t call the emergency services until some time later.

I used to use Gemini. I don’t anymore, but it is good that people are still using it.

No thanks. Not gonna use that.
Terms and Conditions contains minor typos. Sounds like it creates shadow profiles or collects info of non-BirdyChat users, data is still being sent to WhatsApp. On Android the CHECK_LICENSE permission is used, so you need to have an active Google account on your device. I don’t use any alternative ROMs, but I don’t have a Google account. Usually, that means I won’t be able to use the application.

It is “subreddit drama” and pity marketing…
However, Graphene is the more secure and hardened device. Other alternatives don’t really make the same promises and are just alternatives or “degoogled” ROMs.
The Mistral team is just as sketchy as the other AI folks, they’re former Google and Meta employees. I want to believe they won’t be like Altman or Amodei. But they are following the same playbook: in debt to investors, making promises (saying their data centre will find cures to diabetes and cancer), pirating books, and lobbying the gov’t to pay a one-time penalty to avoid future litigation in plagiarism cases…
Still, fingers crossed!
