Many animals have died, but some still hang on, just like us. Even the smallest bit of food or shelter can mean survival for both people and animals
My younger siblings sometimes share what little we have with stray cats near our tent. It’s one of the few moments of kindness left in all this hardship.
Your words aren’t empty I feel them deeply.
I understand that pain, and I’ve felt the same: tired of the silence, the inaction, the endless deaths.
But please don’t think your voice doesn’t matter. The fact that you see us, that you feel this with us it means something. It reminds us that we’re not forgotten.
