Activists released from Israeli custody after being detained on a flotilla trying to bring aid to Gaza were subjected to abuse, organizers said on Friday, with several hospitalized with injuries and at least 15 reporting sexual assaults, including rape. Sean Hogan has more.
The aid flotilla should hire private security and repel boarders. They were in international waters and not violating any laws. (And even if they were, nothing justifies this.)
This would very quickly be spun to make the flotilla look violent, and would be used as justification for sinking the entire thing. Israel tolerates (if that’s even the right word for it…) the flotilla so far, because outright sinking them would be too blatant. But if the flotilla starts shooting, Israel (and their absolutely massive propaganda network) will inevitably spin it to make it look like Israel has no choice but to sink the ships and kill everyone on board.

Do you have a link? Have not seen any such things and find it odd that they exist to being with. But it they really dehumanize them that much, I guess they really think it is fine.

I think this is part of the point of activism of this kind. Expose how evil the regime is when they should be on their best behaviour, to expose at least to the imagination what horrors they commit when no-one can see.

Israelis: “We’ll shut down the country to protest our rights to sexually abuse prisoners.”
Pretty much the only people on the planet that pretend to not know this are the ones writing the blank checks to arms manufacturers.
