        Also the ML you’re talking about is being treated like the red-headed stepchild, despite being the only type that has yielded real benefits. The vast majority of this investment appears to be in LLM systems and facilities to run them.

            You’re right that it is fairly opaque. I am largely speaking from what I understand to be the sentiment of the AI companies themselves. All of the media and material put out is is in advancement of and advertising for agentic tools, which are LLM-based. I find that the other ML tools take such a distant backseat that most people don’t know what I’m even talking about when discussing non-LLMs.
