And yet, Murdoch is simply a symptom of the real disease, capitalism. Without him, we would still be in the same situation, because capitalism requires endless growth and both incentivizes and requires greed and individualistic behavior from those with power.
A global socialist revolution is the only thing that can save our species and the biosphere.
Which is probably why the climate effects will be so extreme as nature does its thing in an attempt to rebalance the environment.
