Sony is erasing over 550 movies from PlayStation libraries without offering a single refund. If clicking "Buy" only grants access until a corporate licensing deal expires, the service is fundamentally broken.
Sony are doing this precisely because people have already voted with their wallets. Physical sales are non-existent. Everyone is already all digital on PlayStation and Xbox.
And with hardware prices being what they are, people aren’t going to be investing in PC gaming or new systems. The time is right to gouge and limit freedom.
