Tankies and libertarians are both conservatives. Different circus - same clowns. They have a chosen ingroup that’s righteous and correct and handsome, and any argument-shaped sentences are just shuffling cards to justify that mandatory conclusion. Things are good because they do them.

I pretty constantly watch instance drama from afar on sh.itjust.works and feel very grateful that the instance I chose as a newbie has been blessedly free of that. Every instance that’s got more than like ten people has at least one dumbass, but it doesn’t feel like there’s some overwhelming current of any flavor of dumbass on SJW, and I don’t even remember who the instance admins is, let alone feel like anything is beholden to their politics. Shit just works. It’s a beautiful thing.
