    Yeah there’s no effective agreeable way to protest a party you’re mostly aligned with in a two party state. They use your and their mutual “enemy” to hold your vote hostage.

      You vote in primaries at minimum. Even better, get involved with your local Democratic party group to push for and advocate for what you seek… or run for something yourself.

      The “party” isn’t some homogeneous thing, it’s just a lot of loosely aligned folks trying to move in generally the same direction.

      Yes - the democrats rely on the argument that since they are fractionally to the left of the republicans you have no where to go.
