More than 2.1 million people attended a free concert held by Laga Gaga at Rio de Janeiro’s famous Copacabana Beach. Two suspects were arrested in raids carried out across four different states.
Brazilian police said on Sunday that they had foiled a bomb plot against a packed Lady Gaga concert in Rio de Janeiro a day earlier.

“The suspects were recruiting participants, including minors, to carry out coordinated attacks using improvised explosives and Molotov cocktails,” the police said in a statement.
“The plan was treated as a ‘collective challenge’ with the aim of gaining notoriety on social media,” police added.
Who wants Lady Gaga dead? I’m a bit shocked.
And then the second thought rolls in, identifying her associations with drag queens and I’m thinking it’s a far right individual.
It’s almost always a far right individual, even when the target is also far right.
That’s unfair, sometimes it’s not a far right individual but a far right organization.
It wasn’t actually to target her but lgbt+ people that were there.

I think these tiktok challenges are starting to go a bit too far.

- Police was tipped in 28th April, likely from someone who was in that group
- The leaders of the group are from Rio Grande do Sul and Rio de Janeiro, the latter being a teenager that also had some CSAM in his computer
- There was another crazy asshole who claimed Lady Gaga promoted satanic rituals, to which he would “make his own satanic ritual, killing a child during the show”
- The states where the raids happened are Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo and Mato Grosso
I asked myself, for a moment or two, what a “foil bomb” is. And why would the police do that to Gaga, or to a farm plot at her concert?
