What do you mean “almost”?
Part of you is oxygen you inhaled.
Most of that oxygen has been around I would think, but I guess some atoms would’ve come from recent micrometeorites or whatever.
I guess, some bacteria might have made it into your body in other ways, but might still be considered part of you in the wider sense…?
There’s more life in your gut than cells in your whole body
Ah yeah, my comment was caveated as such, because I assumed those bacteria to have mostly gotten there via food. Then again, no idea if any even survive going through the stomach acid…
Bacteria, air inside you, implants/prostetics. Essentially just a smartass shield.
You hear it as a joke when you’re young, but it’s not til you’re old that you realize “you are what you eat” is literal.
My sweat is just seasoning.
No, most of me was water I drank!
You were water that YOU drank???
Oh…oh this is hurting my brain trying to work this out.
Oh like all of the material of your body was food, at first I thought you just had really bad grammar and meant “all of you” meaning allb of us readers or something and all the comments were just keeping up the bit
I don’t get it. Is this a joke about “swallowing” ?
*were
Its you, singular.
