why would you say they have changed?

Because I’m talking about the DNC and that is ruled by the chair with full.power and no accountability to anyone until 2029 when his term is up…

You’re talking about Schumer and Jefferies…

They were elected to congressional leadership positions a few weeks before Martin was elected chair.

They got their position the same way neoliberals always have: threatening to cut off funding to an entire state party if they’re not supported.

That threat had weight and decades of history that they’d follow thru, so they got their spots.

Then just a few weeks later they became lame ducks after the chair election broke from neoliberals for Martin. That’s why no one cares what they say, and politicians are comfortable criticizing them more.

When the next Congress gets seated in less than a year, they (Schumer/Jeffries) have absolutely zero chance of retaining leadership, and with Martin at the helm of the DNC and dumping all that stolen money back to the states, the fresh congress can elected congressional leadership that reflects who they actually want.

There’s a lot of shit to be negative about right now, but the party is in better shape than it has in generations. Just don’t expect billionaire owned media to tell you any of this.

Yeah, don’t take anyone’s word on this stuff.

But Ken Martin ran Minnesota’s state party for a decade, so he’s got a long and public track record you can look into.

I wouldn’t just blindly put faith in him, and definitely not the party.

But he’s legit. He won’t influence any primary, but the second Mamdani won his primary, Martin immediately said that’s the type of candidate he wants for president, both in policy and charisma.
