    The worst part is the helplessness the electorate has to stop it. Can we get some democratic candidates who are anti-genocide?

        No. It’s literally an apartheid ethnostate where Jewish people having more rights than anyone else is enforced by laws and by military force.

        even at the best of times the country’s been rather aggressive towards its non-Jewish neighbors/cohabitants.

        That’s the understatement of the century! Minimize heinous crimes against humanity much?

        I guess they’ll just have to wait for the next election

        It’s been almost 80 years of non stop oppression, ethnic cleansing and genocide. The next government isn’t going to stop doing what Israel was founded to do.

    Israel does not care - for them, any dead Palestinian is a success. If an actual Hamas member is among the dead, it is a bonus, nothing more.
