The EU explicitly said that kicking Orbán out was a precondition for EU money into Hungary. Is this not interference in elections? Not saying it’s a bad thing necessarily, Orban was a piece of shit, but you’re not aware of the facts if you don’t believe there have been massive economic interests against Orban.
It’s a matter of who controls the media and who has which budgets for support.
