If a movie doesn’t live up to expectation its called a “flop”…which is what a bomb that doesn’t go off properly does when it hits the ground.
No, if the line goes around the block - and then some - it’s a blockbuster. No bomb.
When something is the bomb it rocks. When something bombs it sucks.
And when I’m bombed out, I’m either tired or drunk.
Clearly, a movie is a block, and not all kinds of bombs can bust blocks.
So much whiffage in these comments that I’m getting a delightful breeze, all the way over here…
