To be fair, here’s only saying that because the tin Man and the lion don’t have the heart or the courage to tell him he’s missing something.

My point was, as per OP, if we banned it now, there would still be a large portion claiming outrage. Either because they profit from it, or it effects a product they use or collect.

Plastic is much more harmful than asbestos ever was. (Try banning it)

I think it’s just USA. Nowhere else has introduced new tariffs for stuff from Japan to my knowledge.

Here is the full statement Nintendo sent GameSpot on April 4:

“Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 in the U.S. will not start April 9, 2025 in order to assess the potential impact of tariffs and evolving market conditions. Nintendo will update timing at a later date. The launch date of June 5, 2025 is unchanged.”
