2 months agoYes there definitely would be an alterior agenda to the reasons for the push to hate on tiktok data fears. But that’s not to say that people are any safer (data wise) with US big tech.

I agree. I’m addressing the obvious hypocrisy of big tech
And tiktok is supposed to be our enemy?
Which part of AI is actually going to make our lives easier? I use it occasionally to get me out of a coding problem but what else will it actually be good for society and in our daily lives?
As another said, it will do more harm than good and will only serve megacorp in the end.
