Been nothing but satisfied with proton. I bought a years worth at once. The flatpack I got installed and works without issue. The only gripe I have is I can’t figure out how to make it (mint) boot up with wiregaurd/proton as the default.

Tax it enough to offset the additional healthcare costs. Enact strict laws on where and when you may smoke, but not so strict it becomes impossible for a smoker to smoke. Then be done.

I don’t think there’s a person on earth who doesn’t know it’s bad for you. This punitive tax increase after increase is just making people miserable for no reason other than so legislators have something to point at to justify their salaries.

I just spent ten minutes on Google trying and failing to find it, but there’s a novel that uses that basic premise. Humans find this network of observation satellites and are able to tap into the feed and basically watch earth from the 1300’s on. The builders are long since gone. Most of the novel is the crew trying to catch up to this museum ship that the network is uploading to.

Was a really good one if anyone knows the name of it.
