It’s pushing this user to not use them any more.

There are plenty of stupid ideas being pushed everywhere. In general, the EU has better checks and balances to weed out the awful ones. Not always obviously, but no system is perfect.

Trying to solve social problems with technology always works.

Uranium boils water which turns a turbine, the turbine makes electricity, the electricity powers your kettle, and your kettle boils the water. Obviously the best thing to do is to cut out all the messing around converting this to that, and have uranium powered kettles.

Don’t forget small government.

I stopped after no. 2. Is there any reason to continue beyond that?

It means the same thing as all the other times he says something stupid: he’s a senile fuckwit.

It’s fine. They haven’t got an antisemitic bone in their bodies.

This should have been happening 40 years ago, but now is better than never

Nice one, bull. Right up the arse. 😁👍

Anyone with half a working brain would agree.

Yes, in a nutshell. Tenet looks lovely, but the time consistency is appalling. The physics is also broken, and the whole thing just becomes a mess if you start thinking about it. There are very few consistent time travel films. Back to the Future is good, and the TV series Dark handles it brilliantly.

There’s always money for war. The arms business model is basically planned obsolescence taken to the extreme. As soon as you use their product, you have to buy more. With that scheme, what sort of self respecting greedy psychopathic monster wouldn’t want to blow everything up to rake in the money for themselves and their mates?

They are already sucking at Microslop’s AI-encrusted teat. It’s a major UK university, and there used to be a mix of systems, with a lot of really good functional software written in-house. Over the past decade, as they have been retired, they were replaced with MS-based turd-rolled-in-glitter ecosystems that drive me up the wall. The old stuff wasn’t pretty, but it worked and did all you needed and no more. It now feels like some sort of Rube Goldberg machine with fireworks.

I have to use Jira at work. It’s fucking awful.

This is impressive technology which has the potential to benefit humans by having things like robot firemen who just walk into flaming buildings and rescue people.
But who am I kidding? Tech companies will just it to cut jobs in order to enrich themselves and make everyone else poorer.
It’s difficult to believe that this is legal and won’t be thrown out by a higher court on appeal.
