Yeah I quit a while back. I thought it would be harder, I had several old accounts, moderated a couple of small subs, had loads of karma, spent at least an hour a day being active on there. I realised all that shit was sunk cost fallacy and I’m glad I finally left.

Yeah, they messaged all my accounts asking if I wanted to buy in. I actually considered it for an instant, then thought nah, fuck that.

I’m sure you’re right, migration here won’t make much of a dent in reddit’s numbers. It’d be great to have more people to fill out some of the smaller communities but we don’t need the ones who don’t want to move.

I’ve met people like that here in the UK too. Trump has this incomprehensible charisma for arseholes the world over.
