But the people in positions to make it happen don’t give a crap about staff wellbeing, just that they’re getting their money’s worth of you (even if it DOES improve productivity - they’ll ask you why you can’t be even MORE productive with an extra day).

But we’re all weak willed and don’t do anything. We’re too used to the government doing stupid stuff and getting away with it. Even if we protest, nothing comes of it. We eventually just roll over and comply. It’s the the only thing I admire the French for.

Well, who’d have thought.

But it’s everywhere now and it’s almost impossible to use mainstream services without it being used. I can just go to Google anymore, type a search query and get a reply without AI bs being used. How long before it’s baked into the GMail compose window and it doesn’t without me wanting to.
