If you followed his story it’s obvious he is hilariously corrupt, even for a politician. He thought he’d get away with it. His far right supporters don’t care, of course, and will defend him no matter what.

Since no agreement with Trump means anything this “deal” is barely important news. Tarrifs between the EU and the US can and will change unpredictably.


Thank God massive data leaks don’t regularly happen and sensitive personal data is usually handled with great care and responsibility.

I’ve already given up on FPV freestyle as a hobby, since it’s getting ever heavier regulated and the authorities have very little understanding or tolerance when it comes to bending the rules. It was fun while it lasted.

As long as MS Office just works and there is no real legal problem with using it, there is just no incentive for businesses to take on the enormous costs and risks involved with changing stock a critical piece of infrastructure. MS has an iron hold on that market and it will need a major reason for businesses to even consider switching.


I have some good insights into what actual European businesses use as office software. I’ll let you know if I hear about nextcloud.
For now at least, office still reigns supreme.
I wonder what the rules about requirements by law are. This is a fascinating question.
