Hmmm. Sure. But I find people don’t understand how much one kWh really is. A 500W drill can twist your arm. Imagine yourself twisting someones arm with all you got for a whole hour. Or idk. Either way it’s a lot of energy.

And then you think about how much more energy a car uses then a human does. And then you find out about hot water…

And, funny enough, you would be doing them, the world, the datacenters, and yourself some good.

That just shows that some parts of the economy have far too much money. And it’s all going to nvidia

Imagine there’s like a super rich country where everybody gets paid at least 10x what you do. And they order crap from the company you work at.

It’s just the way it is in the world. A new gpu costs the same in my country, but median pay is like 2-4x less. So basically imagine if a new gpu costs 3000$ instead of 1k. Obligatory nvidia f you.

I just blocked the whole instance as soon as the option was implemented. There were few good posts/comunities from it, but overall better to block it whole.

Breaks are kinda important.
