The police and such have been in deep with Palantir since long before this current government. They get excused, because it wasn’t as well-known at that time how evil they are… but yeah, I really doubt that the next government would do anything different either.

PDF files, for all the governmental pdf-files.

Do you usually smoke industrial hemp?

I see charging stations all over the map in Romania? But yeah, that’s understandable. Just unfortunate that it’s one of those supply/demand problem… no one would see the benefit of building a public charging station near their business if there’s not many people who’d use it.
If you’re looking at used cars, that can also contribute. There’s basically no service needed, so there’s not as many people like who try to time selling their ICE car before they might need to do some more expensive servicing. And those who are selling for affordable prices are often much older models -> worst technology.
But that’s all good points. Hopefully in 10 years the used electric market can become somewhat sustainable…

What various reasons?

Hopefully not, but it makes you wonder how many vulnerabilities they might be introducing by fixing others…

Nothing is perfect, but the GSR2 for example has undoubtedly saved many lives. The problem isn’t with the technology, but that you don’t have any real privacy laws in the US.

That sounds like a nightmare tbh.

“If you want to replace Internet Explorer with Netscape Navigator, why not just use Solaris or OS/2 or something? It’s THEIR OS you’re using” didn’t go over too well with the courts.

What 153./8? You mean the allocated 153.66.0.0/15? But yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised, they probably don’t care about abuse reports and it’s more difficult to pinpoint a specific customer due to CGNAT.
At least they provide a nice list of ranges you could block.

Can you imagine if they put a camera inside the vehicle?
There are already cameras inside most new cars, but the purpose is to see if you’re nodding off when driving and such. It’s a good thing to keep unsafe drivers off the road. The bad thing is the lack of privacy regulation.

“provide for their needs”…? What do you mean? Sure, many gamblers don’t have a very stable economic situation, but you’re implying that something like UBI would suddenly stop people from gambling or what?

Except if the crackhead wrote what the AI wrote, he’d be prosecuted for conspiracy, solicitation, or whatever.

But Ukraine has a navy…?

How does that work? Aren’t you still paying quite a bit of US taxes, and then also paying UK taxes?

sends a company to check if they still work every year
Wtf, isn’t it just pressing a button…? Though I guess you avoid the risk of people forgetting.
It’s also required in Sweden, but the building owner is responsible for installation, whereas the people living there are responsible for testing that it still works.

Bundesrecht Art. 28g:
1 Any person whose personality rights are directly affected by a representation of events in periodically appearing media, especially the press, radio or television, shall have a right of reply.
2 There is no right of reply in respect of accurate reports of the public dealings of an authority in which the affected person took part.
I’m not an expert on Swiss law, but I don’t see any reason that they’d be entitled to a reply…? Let’s hope the courts see it the same way. Bullying small independent media for their factual reporting is just low.

I hope her reports continued to “take an entire day”.
Exactly. So many people get worried - about their dog being worried - and it just makes a bad cycle. The best thing is to behave as normal, but positive reinforcement helps otherwise.
