No need to unionise when you have the power to make a startup.
But then first you need the power and ability to make a startup.
So my browser’s reader theme is at black background (#000) with white text (#fff) and I just reduce the backlight at night, while keeping the windows open in the day time.
Similarly, I reduce mobile brightness indoors, but keep it at full, when using maps while riding.
When using an LCD monitor, it is beneficial to be able to reduce backlight brightness instead of reducing the colour value in software.

Information can be imparted.
Understanding needs to be created within.

Might as well get rid of the farms.
Perhaps use them for reforestation and stuff.
Maybe even start some new plant-based industry.
Tobacco no longer gets rid of mosquitoes. Its benefits are either long gone or didn’t exist in the first place.

We are the fuel it lives on.

I thought you could stuff anything into a bun shaped piece of bread and call it a burger.

That’s only going to affect me if I am reading something particularly boring and don’t really want to read it.
But if that were the case, I wouldn’t be reading it in the first place.
I don’t feel the need to rid myself of distractions, because when I am not in the mood to read a book, I don’t read it.
Also, this “distracted by functionality” logic is what parents seem to use to get rid of stuff with a screen.
I can say for sure, that people being loud in another room is a much bigger distraction.
If your OS is distracting you, you have installed the wrong one.

I really like being able to Ctrl+F through my book.
But there just seems to be some kind of feel to flipping a page that makes me feel more focussed.

Yeh, then it would be teleportation costs.

Because then it won’t be creamed.

Well, I can buy a GPS map device. Cash payments are not much of a problem until the Govt. starts adding that extra tax on cash withdrawal from ATMs. I will need to wait for companies to grow a brain and stop using WhatsApp for work.
For all else, I use my computer anyway.

get an LLM to perform complex calculations
That would be like: a human taking a calculator and then installing a human emulator on it, just so that it can make mistakes that feel similar to human mistakes, just taking much more energy and making the mistakes more frequently.

“We mean electric cars, you commie! The next time you talk about that thing, you are going out that window.”

I’d say you won’t really require batteries for something like this, that will mostly be generating less energy than it is expending at any point of time.
Note that I am only suggesting filling the roofs and not the rest of the area around it.
Besides, they most probably have a Double-conversion UPS, so they just need to make a controller that supports a side input channel for charging from the PV output.

that history forgets this period
and thus it repeats

I see white roofs that can be dark themed to reduce the load on the grid.
Wasn’t there a country with too much solar, causing electricity prices to fall too low?
Do they not have any space left for data-centres?

Also, this statement applies EVERYWHERE.
It does.
Somehow acronyms just end up sounding cool. Guess we should just use the full form. That would be better.
