We see it here in the Netherlands (and other EU countries) for all big tech companies, they’ll build some big energy hogging thing, and then buy up all the renewable energy certificates from the market. The general public then ofcourse needs fossil fuels for their energy demand, but that’s beside the point.

Opium is being consumed for at least 5000 years, and has only been banned (mostly) in the last 150 years. In the 19th century there were two opium wars between western powers and China because the latter banned the use and import of opium.
