Foreign intelligence must be having the best day ever. Soldiers, with access to lots of interesting stuff, desperate for cash.

I’m not sure the US administration thought this one through properly. But at least they have that “warrior mindset” and no beards now. So that’s good I suppose.

I’m not sure the US administration thought this one through properly.

Considering that the US administration is an enemy of the US, vulnerabilities like this are either an intended part of their plan, or a happy accident.

They don’t give a fuck about things like national security - that’s only ever a front for some other flavor of evil.

It took me a few clicks and some depressing reading to find it.

That link brings you to this pdf

After reading through the sadly typical bureaucratic layers of Army, I finally found this:

Also, the richest nation in the world has a military so in need of SNAP benefits that it has an entire machine of paperwork in place to facilitate the distribution.

    Ask yourself why.

They have removed this section from the document without updating the document version/date. The link in the page now points to this document: https://home.army.mil/bavaria/2617/6241/4675/ID-E_Furlough_Support_Programs_and_Resources_-_v6_update_4_NOV_2025_2.pdf

Note the “_2.pdf” in the end of the link

Someone at the army is on social media. The linked page is already altered and the segment about “Tafel” has been deleted.

    It’s (still?) here https://home.army.mil/bavaria/about/shutdown-guidance

or if that gets changed too: https://archive.is/e2hvc

So now, they just deleted “Die Tafel” from their list and put the other options into a PDF to hide them better?

Members of the US-Military wouldn’t be elegible going by the rules of Tafel branches that I know of anyway (Tafel asks for “proof of need” in form of notices from social security agencies). But who thought this to be a good idea? This non-communication is making matters worse.

Please remember the US voted against making food a human right in several UN votes.

Give the soldiers the option to either swear allegiance to the German government or deport them because they cannot sustain themselves in the country and are now, in fact, illegal migrants that tax the government and are an unacceptable burden upon the welfare state.

Anything less than this is backstabbing the German society to the banefit of the pedophile in chief of dumbfuckistan.

Rules (2024-08-30)

  1. This is an English-language community. Comments should be in English. Posts can link to non-English news sources when providing a full-text translation in the post description. Automated translations are fine, as long as they don’t overly distort the content.
  2. No links to misinformation or commercial advertising. When you post outdated/historic articles, add the year of publication to the post title. Infographics must include a source and a year of creation; if possible, also provide a link to the source.
  3. Be kind to each other, and argue in good faith. Don’t post direct insults nor disrespectful and condescending comments. Don’t troll nor incite hatred. Don’t look for novel argumentation strategies at Wikipedia’s List of fallacies.
  4. No bigotry, sexism, racism, antisemitism, islamophobia, dehumanization of minorities, or glorification of National Socialism. We follow German law; don’t question the statehood of Israel.
  5. Be the signal, not the noise: Strive to post insightful comments. Add “/s” when you’re being sarcastic (and don’t use it to break rule no. 3).
  6. If you link to paywalled information, please provide also a link to a freely available archived version. Alternatively, try to find a different source.
  7. Light-hearted content, memes, and posts about your European everyday belong in other communities.
  8. Don’t evade bans. If we notice ban evasion, that will result in a permanent ban for all the accounts we can associate with you.
  9. No posts linking to speculative reporting about ongoing events with unclear backgrounds. Please wait at least 12 hours. (E.g., do not post breathless reporting on an ongoing terror attack.)
  10. Always provide context with posts: Don’t post uncontextualized images or videos, and don’t start discussions without giving some context first.

Ban lengths, etc.

We will use some leeway to decide whether to remove a comment.
