      I love the optimism of the idea that this belongs in Not The Onion. This headline should belong in Not The Onion…

      I vaguely remember the days when this would have been an outlandish headline, makes me feel nostalgic.

          The rules don’t say the headline needs to be funny, just that it needs to be plausibly mistaken for The Onion.

          There is quite a spectrum of “This is just depressing enough that I’m not sure it’s real” these days
