So at least half of humanity gets employment when they are paid to protect AI data centers from the other half.
Security robots should be able to fill most of those roles, I would imagine.
I think that security robots are a bad choice as a deterent.
Say someone takes an axe to a security robot and chops it up. That’s just property damage and vandalism. Not that too severe of a crime.
Do the same with a security guard and it’s murder and an extreme amount of prison time.
So the AI firms are getting a much better deterent for having a bored (possibly inebriated) breathing human walking around.
