That’s just property damage and vandalism. Not that too severe of a crime. Do the same with a security guard and it’s murder and an extreme amount of prison time. So the AI firms are getting a much better deterent for having a bored (possibly inebriated) breathing human walking around.
Security robots should be able to fill most of those roles, I would imagine.
