If they don’t like something, it’s because most people only think about eliminating things without giving them a chance. The space is super big, and there’s room for everyone. I’m a young woman looking for resources; I created a news blog with AI, and nothing is stopping it. It’s even being monetized; Google accepted it. It’s easier if you don’t like something, just don’t read it, or you can leave a negative comment. The truth is, even with something written by a human, people, in their egocentrism, will always find something to criticize.

AI is dog shit, it’s taxing on the environment and people (through rising energy costs to train models), and the product is bad. If you can’t write your own words or generate your own ideas, then the slop you generate has no value and people can see it’s trash. You keep saying AI isn’t going anywhere, but it takes a minimal effort to research the current state of the technology and see that it’s not productive, companies hosting it are hemorrhaging money, and that there will be significant changes in the future. LLMs have been around for a long time, but it’s not financially viable for these super powers to continue in this path if they want to survive.
