If they don’t like something, it’s because most people only think about eliminating things without giving them a chance. The space is super big, and there’s room for everyone. I’m a young woman looking for resources; I created a news blog with AI, and nothing is stopping it. It’s even being monetized; Google accepted it. It’s easier if you don’t like something, just don’t read it, or you can leave a negative comment. The truth is, even with something written by a human, people, in their egocentrism, will always find something to criticize.

Wonderful day! May I ask what is the reference to your blog written via LLM?

All articles are based on verified and reliable sources. I use artificial intelligence as part of the writing process, but each article is manually checked and reviewed before publication.

Yeah, good luck with that. Maybe some day you’ll figure it all out, and on that day you’ll have something worth writing about - without letting a glorified Markov chain doing your talking - and thinking - for you.

And then maybe we’ll consider it worth our while to listen.

He doesn’t speak for me, but he’s generating extra money for me that I need. We have to accept that, and it’s not going to change. AI is here to stay, and we can take advantage of it. I’m sure many YouTube channels use AI to write their scripts, and they simply profit from the system that allows them to generate money this way. That doesn’t mean a book is bad, but there’s room for everyone. Even so, I was banned. I don’t see any rule that says it’s forbidden to share content created by AI.

“He”? Are you seriously anthropomorphizing a god damned LLM? Why, hello ELIZA Effect.

You clearly didn’t read (or understand) that last link I provided you. For your own sake, I beg you: Read this one. We’ve known about what now afflicts you since 1966!

Snap out of it, while you still can.

If you replied before that, I understand what you’re referring to, but the world is driven entirely by technology. There’s always a group that opposes it, and yet here you are, using technology to talk to people you don’t know. Technology is gradually taking over; we have to be realistic, unless you live in a cave and are responding to me from a rock.

Let me tell you, I’ve experienced hunger, and now this blog generates some income that gives me a bit of comfort, and I’m still young. Many people are making money these days through AI, and it’s helping me too.

Likewise, we are totally living in the age of technology, whether you want to see it or not. I prefer to adapt and learn how to use it.

Lady, please listen: I cut my teeth on an Atari 2600, I started coding on a god damned Commodore 64. In assembly. At age six. I’m no Luddite. I’ve been a professional software developer for over twenty years: Read the links I gave you.

I didn’t know that Eliza existed so long ago, and I don’t feel any attachment to or emotion towards AI; it’s simply helping me generate some money that’s useful to me right now, and I’m trying to drive more traffic to my blog through forums, but I also enjoy reading real books.

AI is dog shit, it’s taxing on the environment and people (through rising energy costs to train models), and the product is bad. If you can’t write your own words or generate your own ideas, then the slop you generate has no value and people can see it’s trash. You keep saying AI isn’t going anywhere, but it takes a minimal effort to research the current state of the technology and see that it’s not productive, companies hosting it are hemorrhaging money, and that there will be significant changes in the future. LLMs have been around for a long time, but it’s not financially viable for these super powers to continue in this path if they want to survive.

Maybe people want to interact with a human internet, which is getting scarce any moment nowadays, not with some machine output. Have you thought about that? The pollution started years ago, SEO-centric websites made it worse and now LLMs are here for the nail on the coffin. Everything is so artificial, it lacks the actual intelligence.
