In light of plans to introduce this policy and the particular circumstances surrounding some boxers that competed at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, World Boxing has written to the Algerian Boxing Federation to inform it that Imane Khelif will not be allowed to participate in the female category at the Eindhoven Box Cup or any World Boxing event until Imane Khelif undergoes sex testing.

      So, hormones don’t exist?
      Intersex people don’t exist?
      Trans people don’t exist?
And what, we’re all either 100% male or 100% female and there is never a grey area in biology?

Don’t make the conscious decision to remain ignorant, you’re keeping yourself back.

i have my own personal beliefs on the matter, and i think everyone should be able to be who they want to be, but i do not subscribe to the notion of transgender people.

oh my god, your claiming that SRY inactivation dictates your gender? You don’t have that happen and it’s just “oh im not the sex im supposed to be” its well known condition thats VERY RARE called swyer syndrome. The treatment is estrogen HRT therapy for females. its a genetic mutation that is treatable.

a female is someone who is born with female parts, even if they are not developed correctly, don’t think you have a “gotcha” there. and again, i don’t know why you bring up swyer syndrome when it only effects 1 in 80,000 people.

Before we get started - really quick, can you summarize your experience in biology? Did you graduate high school? Do you have some form of education/undergraduate degree in a field adjacent to biology? I’d appreciate the clarification - I can explain this at multiple levels and would be happy to tailor make an explanation for whatever level of academic achievement you have accomplished.
