The American Chamber of Commerce to the E.U. said the U.S. tariffs and E.U. countermeasures “will only harm jobs, prosperity and security on both sides of the Atlantic.”
You don’t say…
Yes please. This is a fantastic strategy and I strongly support it.
This is a blast from the past when Bush went for steel tariffs
In retaliation, the European Union threatened to counter with tariffs of its own on products ranging from Florida oranges to cars produced in Michigan, with each tariff calculated to likewise hurt the President in a key marginal state. The United States backed down and withdrew the tariffs on December 4.

Difference is that Trump doesn’t give a shit about support for the next election. He only cares to please Putin.
Congress cares and he has far less power if congress is against him.
How many of Trumps actions were blocked by congress?
Will be many if the stock market does not rebound soon enough.
So as of now it’s none?
Because he hasn’t already been crazy enough for congress to stop him?
Republicans in congress are crazy too, and it requires qualified majority (66%) to stop an executive order AFAIK.So as of now it’s none?
As of now. But there are some who are already making a push back and even Fox news are starting to question Trump. After all, Trump keeps flip flopping because obviously some are already expressing frustrations behind closed doors.
If the silly tariff threats goes on long enough, enough people will become overtly angry.
The day I see some real serious push-back against Trump, will be a day for celebration.
And by real serious, I mean a lot more than just impeachment that turns out nothing, or the cancellation of a few presidential orders.
I mean real attempts to actually stop him from destroying USA and democracy.I’m not American, but I don’t enjoy seeing USA being destroyed like it is now. We need more sensible leaders in the world, not fewer.
None. That’s the point. He needs their support so they continue not blocking him.
Bush had no russian handler
He did have a sort of handler co-president though, so that hasn’t changed
Fuck their bourbon anyways
Now for yea, put hairs on yer chest :)
As a citizen of a devolving red state I’m asking, pleading with the rest of the world to do more harm to these trash humans earnings.

I’m actually not OK with this, TBH. First, it very much better than bending the knee, but if they’re going to impose tariffs, they need to be on the country. Plenty of democrats in those red states and plenty of republicans in blue states either will or won’t “get what they voted for.” In the end, we all should pay for this travesty.
Oh you will, don’t worry about that.
So what’s your solution?
Thought I spelled it out pretty clearly: tariffs on the entirety of the US instead of just “red states.”
