Not sure who this will even affect. Most foreign manufacturers selling in the US build those cars in the US.

Car being composed from thousands of equipments manufactured outside the US, i can’t see how they can totally avoid US tariffs.

Tesla’s materials also get more expensive if everyone else’s does though. That’s why I’m saying it’s not actually an advantage for American manufacturers even if Trump wants it to be. They pay the tariffs on materials same as everyone else and the Europeans, Japanese and Koreans build their cars in the US too.
Because the US is becoming less of an important market to be in.
I’d imagine this has more to do with European automakers starting to go hard into Electric cars and those cars being significantly better than ‘Teslers’
BYD, etc are still tariffed to be moon in USA, so European is the next best thing.

Problem is, the supreme court also said they’re the only court who can stop him at a national level.
So… Every time he breaks the rules, it has to go all the way to the SC to get overturned. Unless congress does LITERALLY ANYTHING.
