Heavy Israeli bombing rocked the Gaza Strip on Sunday, killing at least 15 Palestinians, in a major violation of the ceasefire.
More than 100 air strikes were reported in Rafah and Khan Younis in the south, Jabalia in the north, and parts of central Gaza.
Among the sites hit were a cafe, a mobile phone charging station, a group of journalists and a house sheltering displaced people.

- Man it’s almost like Israel got exactly what it wanted (the hostages, which I’m in no way faulting their focus on) and then turned around and did what it wanted (continued to kill Palestinians wantonly, which I am faulting them for) - Israel never cared about the hostages so it was the right decision from Hamas

- I never understood why people expected them to stop, the hostages got released, which was an obstacle to their genocide, not the cause of it. - We didn’t expect them to stop

- “They cease, we fire.”
- This shit has been making me cry since 2010. Difference now is that the world sees the genocide, in 2010 I looked like a lunatic when talking about Palestine and Israel. - Yeah, when I moved out of my parents’ place, my second roommate was a displaced Palestinian. His family had owned an olive farm for six generations. He had to flee when Israel cut down all of their olive trees, and gave his family’s land to some random Jewish dude. He got out, but was separated from his family and had no idea if any of them had survived. - That was in 2013, and he said he always felt crazy talking about it, because there was nothing about it in the news.
- Around 2004, I bought a pin from a random street vendor that said “We are all Palestinian” because I was a dumbass teenager and it seemed sage with high potential to be edgy. Later, out of fear someone would ask me what the pin meant, I started reading about the situation. Long story short, that dumb pin has caused me much grief as I’ve watched this horrific drama unfold the past 20 years or so. I very much relate to your comments. - I was looking up some history timeline stuff just now and noticed 2010 was the year Hellen Thomas was fired for saying Israel should get the hell out Palestine. Coincidence or no? - Similar thing happened to me. But it was a Palestinian women talking to me in Chicago in 2014. I didn’t really listen much or care at the time. But that did start me actually learning about what was even happening in Palestine.

 - United States President, Donald Trump (center) signs the ceasefire agreement alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (left) and overseen by former UK Prime Minister Sir Tony Blair (right). - Later, Trump told Fox News that the agreement would usher in a “different world”.
- this cease fire was bullshit anyways.
- As has been said over and over and over peace without justice really means nothing. The oppressor will continue the genocide until it gets what it wants.
- The whole think looked from the start like a scam for Israel to get the remaining hostages held by Hamas whilst only releasing a fraction of the hostages they themselves hold (there are tens of thousands of Palestinians in held by Israel on flimsy charges and thousands more held without being charged). - Also the idea that Netanyahu was going to stop playing his “stay out of jail” card was always far-fetched, plus Trump being involved was also a bit “this is all bullshit” flag. - So naturally we’re back on Israel’s timetable for executing their very own Holocaust on Palestinians (remember, polls show that outright murdering all Gazas is supported by almost half of all Israelis, whilst almost 80% support either that or expelling them all to other countries).
- Always have and always will violate the ceasefire. Love Israel…
- Early rumors suggest that an Isreali demolition vehicle triggered an IED (unconfirmed)
