Live updates: Frey, Walz dispute that ICE killed woman in self-defense

ICE officials say the woman was shot and killed Wednesday morning in south Minneapolis after attempting to run over agents with her car. Mayor Jacob Frey called ICE’s version of what happened “garbage.” Gov. Tim Walz also challenged that narrative. He’s expected to speak shortly.

I don’t even know what else to add to this headline. This is so fucked up and tragic scary and infuriating and it will in no way slow the resistance.

    I’m not convinced that it was self defense. Killing the driver of a vehicle does not cause the vehicle to magically stop. If you were truly in danger, the time spent drawing, aiming, and firing would have instead been used to GTFO of the way.

      as someone who watches way too much bodycam footage, this, right here.

      so many cops threaten deadly force four or five times before using it.

      this gravy seal outright murdered this poor woman because he felt his authority being threatened, NOT his personal wellbeing.

      piece of shit needs to face justice, if not in a court then on the streets.

      There are multiple videos from different angles. It was extra judicial murder. He was not in danger of being run over.

      I think the agent made up his mind to shoot to kill before he drew his weapon. The casual manner in which he reholsters his weapon after firing and calmly walks after the car is almost as if it was a “job done” moment. To make things worse is the reaction and statements from Trump and especially Vance with a lame justification for the killing of this person.

      Sad to say but I think there will be more incidents like this to come.
