There’s no valid explanation, it’s just someone thinking everyone will have to go vegan simultaneously so the only option will be to mass genocide farm animals, as if that wasn’t already the plan.
Most animals raised for meat have been undergone breeding by humans to increase desirable traits at the expense of survivability in nature. Those animals are unlikely to survive in nature.
Even if they could, it would wreck local ecosystems if all meat livestock was freed to nature.
a) What does that have to do with Del Monte’s closure? The fact that animals who were by definition going to be killed could be killed if the meat industry suddenly collapses?
b) Even if it were relevant: “and?” “Oh no, it suddenly matters that the animals who were going to be tortured and killed for food will be killed sooner (because it no longer selfishly serves me). Look what you made me do, you evil vegoons!”
“Why are you trying to stop the dog fighting ring? Don’t you know that most of the dogs would have to be put down because they’re too violent to be adopted? Wow, you’re a sick fuck.”
Okay, entirely fair. I’d believed you were, by not pushing back, not just explaining it but justifying it as a talking point, but I see I was mistaken.
Oh no, killing them? That’s much worse than torturing them until we kill them!! Think of all the needless suffering we would miss out on! Oh no. We better make sure not to fire the “turn the entire world vegan in an instant” Ray.
Not even just farm animals (although that’s 100% true). Life-for-life, farm animals would be exceeded by wild-caught fish (extremely conservatively) in a matter of days if literally the entire world went vegan in a microsecond and literally every farm animal on Earth were slaughtered at the same instant. Humans arguably couldn’t even practicably keep up the worldwide mass-slaughter pace just compared to wild-caught animals within this ridiculous anti-vegan fever dream.
Vegans don’t seem to realize this is what will happen of they kill the meat industry.
Here just to dogpile on the dumbest statement of the day. Hi mom!
Explain?
They can’t. It makes no fucking sense; anti-vegans are as braindead and obsessed as they like to project onto vegans.

I’m not the person who posted it, I’m just explaining the rational as requested.

Please pull your pants up. Your ass is talking again.
This a product of corporations owning the rights to certain species, not at all realted to people not wanting to kill animals for their pleasure.
Boring troll.

What are you talking about?
Wut?
Those animals were sentenced to death the moment they were forced into existence. The actual goal is to stop reproducing them.
More farm animals are slaughtered every year in current system than would be killed if all currently living farm animals were slaughtered all at once.
