The article is confusing because it paints him as a “highly respected” ethical hunter and conservationist that hunts under culling licenses, but goes on to say the duiker he was hunting is rare and elusive. Wikipedia lists it as near threatened.
Man had a horde of animal trophies too, so it seems like he just found a loophole to killing and collecting animals in a ‘respectable’ way

I wish I could get her to watch ds9 with me, I imagine Vic Fontaine would be her favorite character though

She believes in aliens too, but not in the sense of little green men. She claims that they are prophets from the old testament that time travel, she always mentioned that passage in Kings with a burning chariot in the sky when she was talking about aliens. She gave me a book about it once, I kind of wish I had held on to it for the laughs.

I’ve mentioned this before, but my grandmother fully believes in Bigfoot, and claims there are sub-species of Sasquatch that she’s personally seen throughout the US. Debunking this movie won’t matter to her, I doubt she’d even consider for a moment that the footage is fake.

I’m an idiot that doesn’t understand facial expressions. What is this meant to convey? Or is it meant to be a commentary on many Americans being too large and sick to worry about what the government is doing to people?

Liquid Death was inspired at a festival, and was originally marketed at straight edge punks and metal heads, so it kinda flows that they’d try to partner with a music tech company
It’s cringy as heck, but I can definitely see certain people wanting to be interred in something like this

My dog smells my car bumper on days I’ve been out, so I assume she thinks I’m taking the car for a walk

From personal experience knowing someone who posted that stuff just to get a reaction out of people: he was beat by his dad (who then divorced his mom because she produced “that”) and was severely bullied in high school. It’s not an excuse, he just desperately wanted the world to feel as miserable as he did.
He showed me a video of someone being shot in the head once. Mind you, I’m the kind of person that breaks down when I accidentally run over an animal or hear a bird splat on a high-rise window. He thought it was okay to show me without my consent because the guy lived, but didn’t understand that violence, pain, and disfigurement are just as traumatizing as death.
He diagnosed himself with Anti-social PD while taking a psychology class, take that however you wish

I’ve disconnected the doorbell at every place I’ve lived in the last 10 years. If I’m expecting you I’ll be waiting and opening the door for you, everyone else can leave a message or find a different way to contact me

That might be the one thing that forces congress to act on Trump tbh. They could weather tariffs because it barely affected them. Dropping the bottom out of the dollar will affect them

There’s a Native American phrase that is a morning greeting, but it means “you survived the night”

Wikipedia says their minimum monthly salary is about $116, $7 is about 6% of that.
Yeah, that’s still insulting lol

I lost my real ID and had to replace it last month. I brought my passport, assuming that was good enough to prove who I am, and the dmv website said that is an acceptable document.
They wouldn’t accept my fucking passport as proof of citizenship or anything else at the counter. This is after scanning my face to make sure it matched the photo on my lost ID lmao. I had to do the Karen thing and ask for a manager
As far as I can tell it’s not yet published. Why on earth would this be reported if it hasn’t made it through the publishing process? Lol
Here is a reaction to the findings that were presented at the conference mentioned in the op article.
